The short answer
A 1 hour loan is a small personal loan — $500 to $2,000 — assessed and funded in about an hour rather than over several days. It suits Australians facing a cost that can’t wait, like a car repair, a vet visit or an overdue bill. Apply online in minutes; during business hours CashPal can process an application within 60 minutes and send approved funds via Osko once your contract is signed. You’ll need to be 18 or over, an Australian resident with a regular income and an active bank account.

1 hour cash loans can help when you need very quick funds in Australia and want a streamlined application with no unnecessary hurdles. Apply online and submit your details securely. We’ll review your situation and give you a decision within the hour. If approved, we’ll send the payout soon after you sign the terms. Many banks show the deposit in about 1 hour after approval, although the timing still depends on your bank and the time of day.
If you’re hoping for instant approval with no credit check, it’s important to be realistic. A responsible lender still completes a basic assessment and verifies key information. If you want the best chance of 1 hour loan approval, have your government ID, recent payslips, and 3 months of bank statements ready. This is also the simplest way to keep an instant cash loan in 1 hour moving, rather than having delays caused by missing information.
Use a short term loan only for needs you can manage comfortably, and borrow only what you can repay.
What is a 1 hour loan and how does it help Aussies?
A one hour loan generally refers to a personal loan that has been assessed and paid out fast so that, once approved, the transfer reaches your bank in about sixty minutes. Actual timing tends to depend on your bank’s processing and the time of day.
The funds get sent using fast payment rails such as Osko on the New Payments Platform used by many Australian banks. To see money within the hour, your everyday account would need to accept Osko or fast payments. Some banks place holds or queue transfers after hours, which can push posting to the next business morning.

What makes CashPal different from other lenders online?
Industry recognition
CashPal has taken out several national FinTech awards for responsible lending since 2022. That recognition matters only if it helps you, so we use the same standards that won those trophies to check every application and keep our borrowing costs transparent.
Fast application, quick payout
The online form asks for the essentials: contact details, income, and bank account. Most borrowers finish it in under eight minutes. We review the information on the spot and, when we approve a loan, send the money through Osko. Funds usually clear in your account within the hour.
We offer loan options that fit everyday needs
A 1 hour loan bridges an urgent shortfall, but it is only one of our options. We also offer larger personal loans with longer terms for expenses like car repairs, medical bills or home improvements. Each loan has a fixed repayment timetable that shows the full cost before you agree.
We’re ready to help when you need it most
Fill out the short online form, read through the contract, and sign digitally. Once approved, we trigger an Osko transfer immediately, so the funds reach your account within the hour.

Frequently asked questions about 1 hour loans
What is a 1 hour loan?+
A small personal loan that, once approved and paid out, may show in your bank in about 60 minutes. The timing depends on your bank, payment channel availability, and the time of day.
Is CashPal a direct lender?+
Yes. CashPal is a direct lender, so you deal with one application, one assessment and one offer.
How much can I borrow from CashPal?+
$500 to $2,000, subject to an affordability check based on your income, regular expenses, and existing commitments.
Am I eligible to apply for a 1 hour loan?+
You can apply if you are an Australian resident, have regular income, and hold a transaction account in your own name. Extra checks may apply if your income varies.
What do I need to apply for a one hour loan?+
Government photo ID, recent payslips, and bank statements for the last 3 months. Having clear, readable documents helps keep the assessment moving.
How can an instant cash loan in 1 hour reach my bank?+
If you are approved and your bank supports fast payment channels, many banks display the deposit in about 60 minutes. Transfers outside banking hours can show later.
Can I get an instant cash loan in 1 hour without documents?+
In most cases, no. Verifying your identity and income is part of responsible lending, and documents are usually required. Uploading them upfront is the fastest option.
Do you offer instant approval with no credit check?+
We aim to keep the process simple, but we still complete responsible lending checks, including a credit enquiry. That means there is not a true “no credit check” option.
Will applying for a loan affect my credit score?+
Your application places a credit enquiry on your file as part of responsible lending checks.
What fees, interest, and terms apply?+
You will see the establishment fee, any monthly service fee, and applicable interest before you accept. Repayment terms are flexible, and there is no fee for early payout.
Before you apply — risks, reasons for decline, and alternatives
A small loan solves a short-term gap; it is not free money, and it is not right for every situation. Worth asking yourself first:
- Do I actually need this? A short-term loan suits an essential or unexpected cost, not discretionary spending.
- Can I afford the repayments? Check them against your real income and expenses, not your best month.
- Am I borrowing the right amount? Fees are charged on the amount borrowed, so a smaller loan costs less.
- Would another option cost less? If one of the alternatives below fits, use it first.
Why applications get declined. We are required to lend only where repayments are affordable, so an application is most often unsuccessful because:
- The repayments would not be affordable alongside your current commitments
- Income cannot be verified, or is not regular enough to assess
- Recent defaults, an active hardship arrangement, or several short-term loans already running
- Frequent dishonours or overdrawn balances in recent banking history
- Application details do not match the supporting information provided
- The basic criteria are not met — under 18, or not an Australian resident
A decline is not permanent. It usually reflects the last few months of banking history, so applying again after that settles often gives a different outcome.
Alternatives worth trying first. Depending on your situation, one of these may cost you nothing:
- No Interest Loans (NILs) — up to $2,000 for essentials with no interest and no fees, for people on a low income or with a concession card. Call 13 64 57 or visit nils.com.au.
- Centrelink advance payment — if you receive eligible payments, you may be able to draw part of it early, repaid from future payments at no cost. Call 13 17 94 or visit servicesaustralia.gov.au.
- Your provider’s hardship program — energy, water, telco and council bills can usually be put on a payment plan, often with the debt paused, simply by asking.
- Free financial counselling — the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 is free, independent and confidential, and can negotiate with creditors on your behalf.
- Impartial guidance — ASIC’s MoneySmart compares options and explains what each really costs.
What a CashPal loan costs
Fees on small loans are capped by Australian law. CashPal cannot charge more than these caps, and a small amount credit contract carries no interest beyond them.
These are the maximum regulated caps, not a quote. The fees that apply to you are itemised in your contract before you sign, and you are under no obligation to accept an offer.

Representative example
Borrowing $1,000 over 6 months
- weekly
- $55.38
- fortnightly
- $110.77
- monthly
- $240.00
How this is worked out
The establishment fee is 20% of the amount borrowed, charged once. The monthly fee is 4% of the amount borrowed, charged for each month of the term. Total repayable = amount borrowed + establishment fee + monthly fees.
Assumes the maximum regulated fees, every repayment made on time, no default or dishonour fees, and the loan running its full term. Repaying early costs less — there is no early repayment fee, and you stop paying monthly fees once the loan is closed. Your own figures are set out in your contract. For independent guidance, see MoneySmart.
